Photobook / Journal

$50.00

Photobook / Journal chronicles a year of the author’s experiences. The written reflections contextualize people, places, and events and provide a unifying voice while the photographs offer views of Hickerson’s time working with his father as well as of living and studying in Portland; together they present a unique visual take on Portland and the Northwest in the late 1970s. Photobook / Journal serves as a sequel to A Year in Avignon, Hickerson’s similarly composed photobook documenting a year studying abroad.
